OPEN THE BOOK offers a programme of themed and dramatised Bible stories. Each session is around 10 minutes long and fits comfortably into our Collective Worship at Hanley Swan C of E Primary School. Our teams of volunteer storytellers use drama, mime, props, costume - even the children and staff themselves - to present Bible stories in ways that are lively, engaging, informative ... and great fun for everyone involved!
This year we are lucky enough to have Open the Book on the third Monday of every month (unless it falls within a holiday).
The themes will tie in with the RE teaching that is going on throughout the school this year and will focus on Understanding Christianity and the order of the Bible.
Please remember that Collective Worship on a Monday is always open to friends and family.
