Hi there everyone,
I really hope that you are all safe and well.
I am missing you all terribly. I popped into school Monday morning on the way to Upton School to work and it was very empty without you all. I can hardly wait to see you all again and be back in Class 2. I hope you managed to enjoy some sunshine last week and perhaps even did some gardening - lots of science learning to be had there linked to our plant topic. It is a very confusing time and the world is a little strange at the moment to say the least. I have found a lovely YouTube clip that explains social distancing to young children https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA_SsZFYw0w&fbclid=IwAR13yM1HMSqpDMI8Ng4bqH_d1Np9rnxk6N9cAClmrKIzGJ_UWD8Xo6FWTn4 it may help to explain just a tiny bit!
I have uploaded some more activities and links to have a gander at when you are ready. Don't forget you can email if you have any questions or updates HSP-Teacher@huet.org.uk.
Parents and carers, thank you for your patience during this difficult time. It is exceptional circumstances and we are all trying our best under very challenging circumstances. There is so much available online and it is easy to get overwhelmed - please don't. Everyone can only do their best!
Have a good week and please stay safe.
Missing you all loads,
Update: Phonics play is now free for home access. This is a great online game for pupils to use to develop their phonics skills: PHONICS PLAY
