Welcome to the Class 1 Home Learning page.
Over the next few weeks I will add activities, games, videos and other opportunities for you to do with your child. Please remember that this is a very unusual time and the most important thing is that you and your child/ren are happy. The activities I post are guidance for you to do as much or as little as you like. There is no pressure to complete everything. If you do get time, a little bit of reading, a little bit of 'cursive' handwriting and a little bit of counting would be great! Do not forget to have fun at home and engage in lots of other practical activities as well - in the house and in the garden!
Please keep an eye on the sight regularly as I will be adding activities through the week as well...
Mrs Dodd - Tadpoles Update!!
Just thought I'd let you know how the tadpoles are getting on . They are now about 8 weeks old.
They have grown a lot and can swim strongly using their tails. I keep mine in an old washing up bowl, with plenty of weed and pond water. So that you can see them better, I got a two out and put them in a little dish with a 50p coin in . This is so you can see how big they are and compare the sizes. Very soon they will start to grow legs and I will show you what they look like then!
If you would like to draw and colour a picture of them please send it to Class 1 e-mail. Take a look at the photos on the class page.
Have a good week everybody, miss you !
