Do you like dragons?
In Zog there is a variety of different dragons, dragons of different shapes, sizes and colours.
Which dragon would you like to be and why?
There is another book about dragons by an author called Jackie Morris. It is called Tell Me A Dragon.
Tell Me A Dragon is full of beautiful detailed illustrations and language about each dragon. Each dragon in this book is unique to each person.
What type of dragon would you be and why?
Can you draw a picture of your dragon on a sheet below and then write about it?
Do not forget to include some nouns (click here for a very appropriate noun explanation) and some wonderful adjectives (do you remember what adjectives are?) to describe your dragon.

Read Write Inc:

For our children they can revise Set 2 and learn Set 3.
Read and Hold a Sentence 1 (from 15th June): reading and writing practice. Remember that when we write we use cursive writing. Every letter starts on the line (apart from capitals).
Read Red Words 1: These are high frequency words that are not phonetically plausible.
EXTRA DAILY FILMS - These are slightly more challenging, but worth a watch. They are based on set 3 sounds and are words that are 'longer'. My advice would be to watch the video with your child and pause each word to give them time to sound it out.
