In science this half term we have started to look at plants. We have identified plants in the school grounds, done observational drawings and predicted what conditions plants need in order to grow. We looked at the structure of a bulb and and the different seeds. We have also planted summer flowering bulbs and seeds and we were going to watch them grow into mature plants. Perhaps you could do this with your children at home? I have uploaded a bean diary so that if you do this activity the children could describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy.
