It is the very last week of this academic year. I have very mixed emotions as I write this.
On the one hand, I am so sad to have not taught your wonderful children over the past few months and to not be with them for their final week this year.
On the other hand, I am SUPER excited to see them at Forest School tomorrow!! It will be a lovely morning filled with activities, crafts, a fire and continuing a new project that we have been doing with the other year groups - a new wildlife garden.
Can I take this opportunity to thank you all for a wonderful year.
Even though the year was cut short, it was a privilege to have worked with your children and I very much look forward to working with them again in the future (hopefully, for the first couple of days in September ).
Thank you for the home learning that you have done and the emails that that you have sent.
It has been so lovely to see what the children have been doing. It is also good to see that the activities that I have planned and provided have been used.
Over the Summer, Mrs Drinkwater and I will be busy planning for your children to return in September and we are working very closely to provide an appropriate and smooth transition into to Year 1.
I hope that you all have a lovely summer and I look forward to seeing you all again in September.
