Welcome to a new week.
I hope that you are all well and are continuing to enjoy the home learning. I have sent an email out this week, if you have not received it then please email me at email@example.com and I will make sure that you receive it asap.
Mr Pratley sent an email out last week and I just want to reiterate his thoughts. Education, home schooling and learning is being kicked around in the media at the moment like a football on a football pitch. Please take most of it with a pinch of salt!
Everyone is in the same boat (including me and my children), and as long as you are having a go at some of the home learning activities and doing your best that is all we can ask. If you manage more that is a bonus! If you have to prioritise because you are having an off day (yes, we all continue to have them), remember to read. Reading daily continues to be a priority for class 1.
My view on the whole situation is that if our children can look back on this period with fond memories, new skills (e.g. gardening, baking, making a cup of tea for us etc), quality family time and some home learning, then we will have done a good job!
Have a great week, enjoy your children and I hope to see you very soon!
