Topic

The Last Week!

It is the last week of the academic year, and during this week we always like to reflect on the year.

It has been a very strange year.

We started the year in school and finished the year at home.

School

Can you remember what school was like?

What was your favourite activities?

Who were your friends?

Which lesson did you enjoy most and why?

Use the sheet below to help guide your ideas

Home

We have spent a lot of time at home this year.

This is a moment in time that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Think about all the amazing things that you have done in your house and garden.

Think about how lucky you are to have had so much time with your wonderful parents.

What has been your favourite activity at home?

Which 'home learning' activities have been the best?

How have you kept in touch with family and friends?

What have you done to fill your time?

Can you draw and write about all the amazing memories that you have from this strange time?

This will be an activity to keep for the rest of your life.

The Future

September and being back at school will soon be here.

We have already started to plan for your return to school.

I wish everything was going to be back to normal.

I wish I could have you all back in class 1 for a little longer?

What would your wish for Year 1 be?

Sports Day Fun

In the last week we normally have sports day.

Sports day is a day of active fun.

In the morning we do team games and challenges and in the afternoon we do races.

Why don't you have your very own sports day at home?

Here are some activities that you can have a go at...

How fast can you run?

Can you run faster than other members of your family?

Why not have a running race and see who wins?

Can you set up some other races?

You could try a hopping race, jumping race, obstacle race or a dribbling a ball race.

Be creative and have fun.
