This week we are going to learn about spiders.

 

On the maths page you will see the story of 'The Very Busy Spider' by Eric Carle. Can you remember what else he wrote?

In 1953 a very famous artist called Henri Matisse created a piece of art based on a minibeast.

Can you tell what it is?

It is called 'The Snail'.

Henri created this artwork in a very unusual way, can you find out how?

Henri enjoyed bold colours and using coloured paper to create some of his most famous pieces.
