Hello Class 4
Welcome to your final week of Home Learning before you break up for the summer holidays. Thank you to all of you who have worked really hard, managed to try things without a teacher and emailed me to keep in touch.
It was wonderful to see some of you in Forest School last Friday and I hope you enjoyed your session. The fence certainly looked very good. Thank you very much Mr Bundy, Mrs Bundy and Mrs Brown.
This week, I am hoping to put some of your stories onto our class page. Many of the Year Sixes have been busy working on them this week, but they aren't quite finished yet. If you have written a traditional tale at home, please send me a copy and then I can share it with the rest of the class. Our English lessons this week are all about playscripts.
In maths, my group are looking at measurement and time. Mr Pratley's group are continuing with some work about shape and also looking at data. Science has taken over Topic and Computing as well this week. It is all about micro-organisms. Hopefully, you will find out what these are, get a chance to complete some experiments with them, learn about the scientists involved in their discovery and play games with them. Enjoy!
In Spanish, the focus is family and pets. Joe is still motivating you with his PE and there are still some tennis and cricket ideas to practise.
Give Charlotte and Year 6 a loud cheer and a big wave goodbye on Friday when they leave, and wish them luck for their futures. If you want to send any of them a message, please email it to me and I will pass it on to them.
Finally, I want to thank your Mums and Dads who have been teaching you over these past weeks (I hope you have thanked them as well) and Mrs Sauntson who helps everyone in Class 4.
Wishing you all a wonderful summer holiday and see (some of) you in September.
