In Class 1 we have three wonderful members of staff - Mr Bundy, Mrs Lavelle and Miss Evans. 

We have worked together for many years, and are very experienced in the Early Years Foundation Stage and helping young people get the most out of their first year at Hanley Swan Primary School.

Hi, I am Mr Bundy and I am the Class 1 teacher. I love teaching and helping every young person be all they can be. I have been a teacher at Hanley Swan C of E Primary School for a very long time - over 20 years! 

I enjoy every day in Class 1, but my favourite activities are Forest School, using the outdoor classroom (which is AMAZING) and teaching children to read. 

Working in the Early Years Foundation Stage is a real joy. Helping develop solid foundations in learning and development for each and every child is a real privilege and one that the Hanley Swan Team is very good at.

I am very excited about you starting school and look forward to working with you very soon.

Hello, I’m Mrs Lavelle and I teach in Class 1 on a regular basis, 1 day a week. I also cover for Mr Bundy when he has other courses/ meetings and management time. I teach in Class 3 as well some afternoons.

I always look forward to September when the new children start their school journey. It is such a privilege to be part of the Early Years Team at Hanley Swan.

Hello! I am Miss Evans and have been the Class 1 Teaching Assistant for 16 years. I love music, reading and our allotment at school.
