Literacy Plan

This week we will be focusing on the story the Three Little Pigs again. We will be writing a character description of the wolf.

The activities are broken down, on the PowerPoint/PDF document daily to help you. 

Everyone, please do:

•  handwriting daily (apart from Thursday and Friday this week)
•  phonics lesson Year 1
•  spellings/ grammar work in Year 2..

Year 2 spelling/ grammar work:

This week Year 2 have all received a log in for Spelling Frame https://spellingframe.co.uk/. The idea is that this site will expand and consolidate the spelling sound of the week. I will set an online test based on the spelling sound this week al at the end of the words which is spelling rule 9.  Have fun!

Year 1 Phonics - Read Write Inc:

Each day the Read Write Inc team post sound videos on their youtube channel.

For our Year 1 children they can revise Set 2 and learn Set 3. There are also 2 other useful videos on challenging words and red (tricky) words that are worth a watch if you have time.
